Terms of Service

Last updated: July 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Meeting Action Items (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service lets you paste meeting transcript text and receive AI-assisted outputs such as a short summary, decision list, action items with owners, and a follow-up email draft. We do not join meetings, record audio, or require calendar access.

Features and quotas differ by plan (Free, Pro, Team). We may update plan limits or features with reasonable notice when material changes affect paid subscribers.

2. Account & Acceptable Use

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
  • You may only submit content you have the right to process (for example transcripts from meetings you are authorized to handle).
  • You must not abuse the Service: reverse engineer in violation of law, bypass quotas, probe without authorization, distribute malware, or use the Service for unlawful surveillance or harassment.
  • Automated bulk scraping or resale of the Service without our written permission is prohibited.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for reference only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or miss context from the source transcript.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any summary, decision, action item, or email draft before sharing it with others or relying on it for business decisions. We do not guarantee that AI outputs are error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

4. Intellectual Property

We own the Service software, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property. You retain ownership of the transcript text you submit and the substantive content of outputs derived from your transcripts, subject to the license below.

You grant us a limited license to process your submitted content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service (including abuse prevention and quality monitoring in aggregated or privacy-preserving forms where feasible).

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our trademarks, UI, or marketing materials without permission.

5. Fees & Subscriptions

Paid plans renew according to the billing cycle shown at checkout until canceled. Taxes may apply. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Account Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risk, fail repeated payment, or abuse infrastructure.

Upon termination, your right to access paid features ends. We handle deletion and retention as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by nature should survive (for example IP ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability or merchantability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of AI outputs or Service interruptions. Our aggregate liability for paid users is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
